Guided Mindfulness Meditation at Cornell Botanic Gardens August 14, 3:30-4pm, Cornell Botanic Gardens. This meditation focuses on nature and is a chance for reflection and renewal at the end of the week. Sessions will take place at the Summerhouse at the Cornell Botanic Gardens, located behind the Nevin Welcome Center.
Grief and "Off-Ramping" Experience for Caregivers After Loss September 10, 12-1pm, virtual. When caregiving comes to an end, caregivers often experience a complex mix of emotions, life transitions, and questions about identity and purpose. Join Laura Ward, Manager of Psychosocial Services at Hospicare of Ithaca, for a discussion on grief, loss, and the “off-ramping” experience after caregiving.
Parenting with Purpose: ACT-Based Approach to More Flexible, Intentional Parenting Led by the Faculty Staff Assistance Program’s Casey Benson, LCSW, PMH‑C, this 8‑week virtual group will meet every Wednesday at 1pm, starting September 16.
