Staff Spotlight

Each month, we highlight a member of the Cornell Wellbeing team to share how they assist employees and a bit about them.

Eve Abrams, LCSW, Counselor

It is a privilege to offer counseling through Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) to Cornell faculty, staff, retirees, and their spouses. I appreciate using our shared human experience and 20 years of clinical practice when working together.

Clinical interests include supporting clients with health, trauma, intimacy, grief of all
kinds, aging, transitions, creating greater ease and joy and the development of mindfulness skills to respond to the challenges of being a human. In addition, I enjoy regularly running the Postdoctoral Support Group - helping people share and learn from each other’s experiences.

Personal interests include Buddhism, hiking, gardening, good food, spending time with family, and the pursuit of finding humor in unlikely places.

You can reach Eve by emailing FSAP at fsap@cornell.edu.
